Vivian Girls Identity Crisis.
Does anybody else think the new album is a directional mess? Also, there are too many Phil Spector influences. It really bothers me how much “Take It As It Comes” sounds like a Shangri-Las rip-off, complete with the cutesy chick monologue that worked 50 years ago.

flamgirlant: Beach House - “Gila” Just felt like a Beach House moment. I really preferred this album tenfold to the newer stuff…so much dreamier and I will continue to argue for the lower production quality which sounds heavenly compared to the hi-fi, in-your-face vocals. Shrug.
