Destroyer-“Suicide Demo for Kara Walker”

I don’t particularly like Destroyer’s newest album Kaputt despite all its high ratings and hype. I worship Dan Bejar and love his work but this album sounds like he got too tied up in the synth craze and forgot how good he is understated.

That said, this epic 8+ minute song is a hidden gem off that album, and well worth the ear and attention time investment.
