This is a pretty odd/interesting choice. Grouper adds more than a minute to the original, and turns it all Liz Harris trademark, underwater lo-fi dreamy.

one of my all time favorite new order songs; this cover is just delicious (it’s the echo popped synth). maybe not the best song to post the first day of the new year but *shrug* it’s too good not to.

I fucking love this song and this entire album. Dan Bejar does an okay job covering it, but I don’t think his voice works here for me. I still love you Dan, this won’t break us! <3s
